Children of the Earth:

Lake Village Homestead and Farm Cooperative Agricultural Training Center

A farm program that offers children of all ages interactive hands on experiences that engage and demonstrate the value of the Earth, Air, Water, and animals that help sustain all life.

Children visiting Lake Village Farm have the opportunity to milk a goat, feed and water pigs, chickens, cattle and horses, harvest chicken eggs, ride a pony and sow seeds as well as having the opportunity to taste the sustenance provided by the animals and their own efforts (milk, eggs, meat, and vegetables). Children will connect the pictures they have seen on Television or in books to an actual primary experience.

An approximately two hour class is $150.00 for up to 15 people. Price will fluctuate depending on class size, additional meal preparation and length of class.
